LIBERATED FOR IMPACT #InTheseTimes

Hey buddies!!! How are you today? I know it’s been a while since we caught up here. There has been a lot going on around me and I hope to catch you up in a little time.
Can you remember when we talked about the Deeper Life Easter Retreat?
It was lit! I mean, it was explosive! There was no dull moment, I enjoyed every minute of it. I never expected it to be so awesome. My mind was totally blown.
I heard some other states had a camping experience but in Lagos here we didn’t. We returned home every day.

The first night was an appetizer. It was a night of redemption, a night of release, and a night of revelation.
The General Superintendent, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, taught that the Israelites were in sorrow and severe affliction as a result of their taskmasters but God brought them redemption. (Exodus 3:7-10)

He said anything or anyone that brings sorrow to a believer is a taskmaster. But the good news is that the blood of Jesus can deliver. What brings redemption is the blood of the lamb (JESUS).
I so much believed this. After the message, I prayed vehemently, like there was a taskmaster before me that night and I really felt the touch of God.

On getting home, I felt the urge to pray more. I slept off when I was done and had a dream. It was a bit scary but I had victory in the end. It’s like a revelation of what God had already done.

The next 2 full days were phenomenal. I learned more about the cross and how powerful it is.
I got to understand that the cross of Christ is a mighty weapon in the hands of believers. No matter the kind of sinner you are, no matter how condemned people have made you feel, Jesus can still forgive you and take you to paradise (Luke 23:42, 43).
All the sins that should have driven us to hell, Christ took them all away on the cross. The cross of Christ makes Christians die to all the desires of the world.

The crucified believer is dead to the world just the way Christ died on the cross. We are dead to the world but alive to holiness and righteousness, and to Christ (Galatians 2:20).
The resurrection of Christ makes Christianity possible. It makes possible a life that cannot be defeated by sin, self, satan, or sickness. That is exactly the victory that Jesus wants us to celebrate and live by. We are unconquerable because Jesus now lives in us. Evil does not have hold on us. We are overcomers.

There are so many benefits of the cross which I got do understand at the retreat but I won’t be able to share all with you now. As we continue striving to be better people, God sees us and He has our interests at heart.
Christ has already made provision for what we are not thinking about yet. He has taken care of our today and tomorrow. We don’t need to worry. We are complete. The cross is our strength. It is our hope. It is our victory.
Although the devil will try to fight us continually, the cross will always guarantee our triumph. In this cross I find my victory. The cross is your victory. This cross is our victory!
Amen?

PS: You scrolled this far, so you deserve to hear this. All of these were just a tip of the iceberg. The “Soaring Above” and “Achievers Summit” that held in Abuja, Nigeria. . .
I don’t even know how to describe the experience.

You should get on the DCLMHQ YouTube channel and listen to all the sermons. Hopefully, I have enough time to share my experience with you.

PPS: Pastor Kumuyi has something special coming out soon. This 2021, we are “eating good”.
