Something Huge × DCLM NEWSLETTER
Hi there.
Welcome to the penultimate Monday of the year 2021. How has your year been so far?
It has been mixed fortune for most people. For some, it was one bad news after another. It was like whatever 2020 did not consume, 2021 was hellbent on devouring. From frying pan to the fire would be an understatement.
It’s sad to note that many people died. Sadder still, many people gave up. How can we blame them when their hope is pinned on something tangible? The problem with tangible things is that they are perishable. If we start counting how many people and things perished this year alone, we might run out of counting space.
At the same time, the year 2021 witnessed a lot of good news. For me personally, a good number of my friends got married. We welcomed a number of cute babies that left us with big smiles. Businesses expanded, promotions came, and some of us got new jobs. Better ones too.
Amidst the gloom of 2021, if I start to list out my blessings for this year, this letter is likely to take a couple of hours to read through.
One of my favorite moment from this year was the kick off of the Deeper Life Global Crusades.
It was something unlike any we have ever witnessed. This time, the “global” nature of the crusade is undisputed.
Kicking off in Abuja, we witnessed ministration in prayer and music from every continent, if not every country of the world. I still remember the first time we saw the choir from India. I know a number of people who have since then been looking forward to more ministrations from them.
Port Harcourt, Calabar, Uyo, and other cities have outdone each other in being the venue with the largest on site participant and global audience. We have been blessed with ministrations from Don Moen,William McDowell, and we are still hearing testimonies from Nathaniel Bassey’s ministrations at the Papal Ground in Abuja.
The year 2021 was unlike any in the history of the Deeper Life Bible Church. Already, many people are looking forward to 2022.
Some people have been so disappointed by 2020 and 2021, that they are already giving up on 2022.
Others know that only a miracle can help them make something out of 2022. Anything less than that, and they might as well throw in the towel.
As you start planning for 2022, don’t you think you need the right revitalization and renewal for the year ahead? Do you think you are all you need for this new year?
Why am I getting ahead of myself?
Before you wrap up for the year, what if I tell you there is still something for you in this year 2021? Not just anything, but something huge. Like really huge?
What if I tell you that there is still one miracle waiting for you this year, and this is one you don’t want to go into 2022 without?
I don’t know what your 2021 has been like, but I can only guarantee one thing for you in this final moments of the year, “When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up;”
The miracle of “lifting up” is what awaits you at the Lagos edition of the Global Crusade themed, The Great Miracle Explosion Crusade.
Whatever might be troubling you so far this year, there is one verse you need to meditate on as the crusade begins tomorrow evening;
“Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.” – Job 22:21.
From the 21st to 26th of December, you don’t want to be told or have to read about what you missed out on.
If you are in Lagos, then you should find your way to the Deeper Life International Conference Center, KM 42 Lagos Ibadan expressway.
